Ed earned his B.S. in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University where he spent more time agonizing over the aesthetics of his lab reports than the contents within.

A set of posters were created to set a vision for Pittsburgh in the year 2050. This was done in light of Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary. Many of the future concerns in Pittsburgh deal with issues surrounding sustainability and green practices.
These are some logos that didn't make the cut. They are mostly bad ideas but I figure they look interesting enough to show anyway.
Here's the deal, Pittsburgh doesn't really have a comprehensive subway system. This is a completely fictional piece of work using real townships in Pittburgh. It's a concept piece for the Pittsburgh 2050 project.
